    Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, is responsible during the Capital Planning process for coordinating and assisting with the statutory processes, planning, preliminary design, specialist investigations and impact assessments involved in Environmental Assessments; also  responsible for assisting with the design and preparation of contract drawings, tender documents, specifications and estimates for road construction projects, and assisting with the tendering, award, and management of projects during construction.

    Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the planning, preliminary design, specialist investigations and impact assessments involved in Environmental Assessments. As a proven day-to-day leader on urban transportation and street projects, the successful candidate will also   assist with the design and preparation of contract drawings, tender documents, specifications and estimates, and assisting with the award, and management of projects during construction.

  • Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the General Manager, Infrastructure and Development Services/City Engineer provides leadership, overall direction, management and administration of departmental programs associated with Engineering, Public Works, Planning, Building, Parking and By-Law Enforcement. This position is a member of the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT), and is responsible for the provision, delivery, development and maintenance of Municipal systems and services necessary to establish a healthy and safe community. This position is also responsible to perform statutory duties under the Ontario Municipal Act and related legislation, Municipal By-laws, and Council policies; and to provide procedural advice and assistance to Council and Departments.
