    An Engineer in Bridges, Structures and Expressways provides project management, contract administration, technical expertise and engineering input on the planning, design, construction, and asset management reviews and inspections of bridges and structures such as retaining walls. The Engineer oversees, reviews and directs the work of engineering consultants, engages consultants/contractors by preparing bid packages, assists in the management of research and/or project operations requiring engineering knowledge, and plans and co-ordinates city-wide assignments by ensuring technical accuracy and adequacy.
