    Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will supervise the construction of municipal services within various developments – from conducting and attending related construction meetings, to supervising the field operations of contractors. As a Project Manager within our Growth Management Division, you’ll be expected to initiate inspections, test and sample work in progress and completed work, review related construction reports, comment on any major changes in design during the construction phase, and ensure that all materials, operations and construction conform to specifications.

    As a Senior Engineer in Development Engineering, you will act as a case manager in the review of development applications made under the Planning Act, including official plan amendments, secondary plans, subdivisions, re-zonings, land divisions, site plans and condominium proposals. This role also involves representing Development Engineering on cross-divisional teams in support of large city-building programs such as Waterfront Toronto's Port Lands Flood Protection Enabling Infrastructure.

    Haldimand County is currently seeking a person with the ability to manage and be responsible for capital planning and implementation of capital expenditures related to roads, water mains, storm and sanitary sewers, bridges, culverts and municipal drains. The person will also responsible for all development related construction and approvals.
