MECP has approved a new 2023 version of the Municipal Class EA (MCEA).   The 2023 MCEA includes may changes to project descriptions and classifications as well as changes to the MCEA process. To explain the changes, MEA will be hosting a series of training webinars;

1. MCEA Amendments Update - Appendix 1 - Water/Wastewater
   The 2023 MCEA includes many changes;

• Selected projects can be shifted from Schedule B/C into Schedule A+ (Exempt)
• New projects have been added and some project descriptions have been modified
• Typos and project gaps

 

This webinar will explain why Schedule A/A+ (Exempt) are not to be elevated to Schedule B/C.   The webinar will also review each of the project types identified in Table B of Appendix 1 and discuss how the project descriptions are to be interpreted and provide useful tips on how to best proceed with the MCEA process.   There will also be an opportunity for questions to be submitted.
