MEA's 2021 Conference & AGM: Hold the Dates & Call for Presentations

The MEA will be hosting its 2021 Conference & AGM/Awards Presentations as a virtual event on the following dates:

  • Monday, November 22, 2021:  2-hr morning session commencing at 9:30 a.m.;  2-hr afternoon session commencing at 1:30 p.m. (networking break between sessions).
  • Wednesday, November 24, 2021:  2-hr morning session commencing at 9:30 a.m.;  2-hr afternoon session commencing at 1:30 p.m. (networking break between sessions).
  • Thursday, November 25, 2021:  2-hr session commencing a 9:00 a.m.  with AGM/Awards Presentations commencing at 11:30 a.m.

This year’s Conference theme is:

The Odyssey Continues….  A Long, Eventful and Adventurous Journey!

The conference will include virtual sponsors and booths through an interactive event web hub.

Please hold these dates in your calendar!  Registration will launch in September.  Registration fees will be significantly discounted from previous events.

We are planning to have a broad technical program with a  provision to include concurrent sessions so delegates can pick and choose the presentations they wish to see.

While the 2021 conference will be a virtual affair, the MEA Board is hoping that we may be able to host an in-person President’s Banquet/Awards Gala/Hospitality Suite on the evening of Friday, November 26, 2021 in the GTA.  Pending public health protocols, this would be a great opportunity to network with your MEA colleagues again, meet the new Board of Directors and honour award recipients!  If this is a go, it will require the purchase of separate event tickets. We would host this at a hotel so that you can make arrangements for overnight accommodations, if necessary.  We will make further announcements about this potential event sometime in September 2021.
