Bill 168:  Stormwater Flood Prevention Act is currently undergoing the legislative approval process, and is described HERE. 

The approval will result in the publishing of a final version of the Low Impact Development Stormwater Management Guidance Manual. MEA commented on the 2022 draft of the manual as part of ERO 019-4971 - these comments can be viewed by HERE.   

Details regarding Bill 168 are currently limited, and limitations of LIDs in managing flooding are known, MEA will be reaching out to provincial ministries to ensure that MEA comments are addressed before release of the manual.
