Clearing the bar: Maximizing grant funding opportunities for low-carbon municipal buildings

The Federation of Canadian Municipalities supports local governments across Canada through its Green Municipal Fund (GMF), a $1.65 billion endowment from the Government of Canada. Through provision of grant funding, the GMF directly supports communities in building new or retrofitting existing municipal community buildings to achieve greater energy efficiency and lower carbon emissions. In February 2024, the structure of the GMF grant funding offer was revised. This webinar will explore best practices in low-carbon building design and describe the newly established GMF application requirements, focusing on how to deliver impactful projects to meet community needs.
