Responsible for reviewing, commenting and recommending the approval of engineering designs and the municipal servicing component of proposed developments including Site Plans (development applications and building permits). Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments and Committee of Adjustment applications; ensuring compliance with City Engineering Standards, existing policies and procedures, and pertinent government regulations as amended; Prepares and administers servicing and encroachment agreements associated with site plan approvals, reviews specifications for various needs studies and provides technical expertise and support with the preparation and administration of development and subdivision agreements. -
Reporting to the Manager of Planning, the Supervisor of Transportation supervises the Transportation division of the Planning Section and ensures comment/analysis on a full range of development applications; provides analysis and comment on traffic studies, traffic management plans, transportation initiatives and environmental assessments; provides customer service through traffic calming requests and traffic complaints; develops transportation policies and initiatives on Transportation Demand Management, Transportation Master Plan Updates, Active Transportation, parking and transit; provides transportation forecast information for the Town's budget, Long Range Capital Forecast and Development Charge Background Study; and provides expert evidence at OMB Hearings.

In this position, you will:
• Manage a variety of planning, preliminary and/or detailed-design highway improvement projects, delivered by both in-house and outsourced resources.
• Liaise and work with ministry staff, senior management, internal stakeholders, external agencies, municipalities, developers, consultants and the public.
• Lead/coordinate project teams.
• Direct and supervise assigned staff.
• Acquire, administer and evaluate engineering service providers.
• Lead public consultation programs.
• Resolve planning and engineering issues.

Manager in the Transportation & Environmental Services Department. Reporting to the Director, the
Engineering Manager is responsible for the oversight of the County’s transportation infrastructure including the
evaluation, planning, budgeting and construction of capital assets. The incumbent also undertakes special
studies, management and review of utilities, review of development applications and oversight of Department
permit processes. The Manager leads and coaches staff and engages internal and external stakeholders. This
position is located in Walkerton, Ontario. -

Reporting to the Manager, Capital Engineering and Construction, the Senior Project Advisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the delivery of a suite of major linear water, wastewater, and transportation capital projects, utilizing a combination of in-house and external resources. You will oversee a team of skilled project managers providing day to day supervision, mentoring and coaching.
