    Reporting to the Director, Water Wastewater Operations, you will assume lead accountability and responsibility for the Plant Operations Section, and the administration and control of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plants, municipal wells, water/wastewater pumping stations, reservoirs and water towers, and combined sewer overflow tanks within the City of Hamilton.

    Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Engineering Technologist is responsible to provide technical and analytical assistance to the Director of Public Works and Public Works Department Managers and is required to fulfill the duties of the Director of Public Works in his/her absence during vacations and illness.  This position will provide technical expertise, information on Township standards, policies and procedures, compliance oversight with good engineering practice, public liaison and consultation. This position provides technical, legal, financial and survey assistance and direction to support staff and other Township staff.
