    Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Planning, the Supervisor of Water & Wastewater Planning is responsible for leading and managing a multidisciplinary infrastructure planning team to develop Regionwide water/wastewater infrastructure servicing strategies and long term development capital implementation plans. Key areas of accountability include the completion of master servicing plans, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Studies, development charges, background technical studies, and infrastructure staging plans which are integral to the Region’s Development Charge Bylaw and Allocation Programs.

    The Development Engineer is the senior lead responsible for the review of either the Intensification or Greenfield Complex Development applications. This role collaborates with the team on projects and provides expertise to development engineering work in their area of knowledge (either Intensification or Greenfield Developments). In addition the Development Engineer will directly review and coordinate some of the more complex, high priority files. The Development Engineer will seek to provide continuous improvement and greater efficiencies within the processes used on an ongoing basis and will assist the Manager to review subdivision, development and service agreements within established service delivery expectations.
