The County of Renfrew is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic people manager who possesses strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills to lead the Department of Public Works & Engineering into the future. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position is responsible for all facets of leadership of the Public Works Department, as well as the management and administration of the County of Renfrew’s Public Works infrastructure, including 815 km of urban and rural roadways, drainage systems, 250 bridges and traffic control devices, as well as operation of the civic addressing and 911 systems. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Technically strong, preferably with the equivalent to a university degree in Civil Engineering. • Senior management level experience, preferably in the municipal environment. • Broad range of experience in a variety of areas including all disciplines of Civil Engineering, administration and management, finance and accounting, statute, contract and common law, fleet procurement and management, and computer applications to engineering and management. • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising/communicating with residents, contractors, professionals, and senior levels of government. • Valid Class G Driver's License

The Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA) and the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) are seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of OGRA/MEA Member Services Coordinator. The position works out of the OGRA office and reports directly to the OGRA Manager of Member Services with indirect reporting requirements to the Executive Director of MEA. You are a team player who enjoys working with a dynamic and committed staff. You are self motivated, highly creative and have excellent computer skills in a Windows, database environment and possess excellent technical writing skills. Work time is shared 50% OGRA and 50% MEA.
