  • Reporting to the Construction Services Coordinator, the main focus of the Engineering Design & Construction Technologist/Inspector will be to provide onsite inspection and oversight of City construction projects to ensure the projects are built in accordance with plans and specifications, completed on time, within set budget limits and following proper safety procedures. Recommend optimum solutions based on knowledge of site conditions, methods and available materials, time factors and budget constraints. The successful candidate will also be required, as necessary, to complete detailed design and drawings for new and replacement infrastructure projects in the areas of storm and sanitary sewers, sidewalks and roads. Provide technical and administrative support in the preparation of final tender documents and for the review of engineering reports and drawings.
