Reporting to the Manager of Development Transportation Engineering, the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Coordinator focuses on the implementation of TDM plans and Active Transportation (AT) as part of the development application review process in support of City’s modal share targets. As a member of the Development Transportation Engineering team this position is responsible for liaising with other City departments, York Region, developers, stakeholders and other agencies to integrate TDM measures, principles and programs into new developments and future transportation facilities. -

THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD Director of Infrastructure Services (Job Posting #2019-21) Salary Range: $100,167 to $121,754 The Municipality of Meaford is located in the County of Grey on the western shore of beautiful Georgian Bay in Central Ontario. With a rural and urban mix population of approximately 11,000, the Municipality offers abundant recreational and lifestyle opportunities. The Director of Infrastructure Services will provide oversight, administration and strategic leadership for the divisions of Transportation & Fleet Services and Environmental Services. This senior level management position will oversee the engineering design of municipal services and projects and provide technical expertise in the areas of engineering, water/waste water and waste management operations, transit, road network operations, maintenance and municipal infrastructure. The successful applicant will be a senior level leader who is well experienced in the complexities of municipal government, holds a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, has a minimum 10 years' related municipal experience with 5 years’ progressive experience in management and supervision, and has extensive knowledge in the areas of transportation and environmental services. As a Senior Engineer within the Transportation Infrastructure Section, you’ll provide project management, contract administration, technical and engineering expertise in the planning, design and construction of large, complex capital works projects, including roads, sewers and watermains. In your capacity as project manager, you’ll also oversee, review and direct the work of staff and engineering consultants, as well as engage consultants and/or contractors by preparing bid packages.
