MEA Awards

MEA ANNUAL AWARDS & VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION PROGRAM:

AWARDS:

The MEA recognizes its members through annual awards and volunteer recognition programs. 

Awards are provided under three categories:

• MEA Award
• MEA Order of Merit
• MEA Life Membership

Each year, the MEA actively seeks nominations for the “MEA Award” which recognizes a Municipal Engineer who has provided outstanding service to the community, been recognized for work related accomplishments in an engineering project of above average merit, and/or have a record of long-term service.  Nominations for "MEA Award of Merit" and  "MEA Life Memberships" are not solicited - candidates for these awards are recommended by the MEA Awards Committee.

 

2025 "MEA AWARD"

Nominations for the 2025 MEA Awards Program are now closed.  The nomination window for the 2026 MEA Award will open in the spring of 2026.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION:

MEA members volunteering on over 40 MEA committees are recognized annually for 5, 10, 15, 25+ milestones.

 

2024 AWARDS AND VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION PROGRAM:

2025 MEA Awards and Volunteer Recognitions were presentated at the MEA's 2025 Awards Luncheon on November 12, 2025 and Life Memberships/MEA Order of Merit were presented at the 2025 President's Gala on November 13 at RBC Place Conference Centre in London, Ontario during the MEA's 2025 Conference & AGM event.
