As part of its Annual Workshop/AGM in Thunder Bay, the MEA held is annual Bridge Building Contest after the President's Banquet during the evening of November 22, 2018.  In total, nine (9) entries (individuals/teams) participated in this year's event.

The MEA wishes to congratulate the winning team of students from York Region comprised of Hasmig Bedrossian from the University of Waterloo and Christopher Rotella / Niloufar Ghaffari from the University of Toronto.  Their balsa wood bridge supported 90 pounds to win the title!

The MEA also acknowledges Trenton Woodbeck from Conferation College (Thunder Bay) who finished second.  Third place was awarded to a team from the City of Windsor.

The MEA encourages members, highschool/college and univeristy students to participate in its annual Bridge Building Contest.
