2020 MEA Bursary Program - APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED

NOTE - AS A RESULT OF THE ONGOING SITUATION REGARDING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THIS YEAR'S MEA BURSARY PROGRAM HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 5, 2020

The Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) is pleased to advise that it will be offering its 2020 Bursary Program to assist students enrolling in the first year of an Engineering Program at the University level for the upcoming 2020/2021 academic year.

This is the 13th consecutive year the MEA will be awarding bursaries to engineering students of the children/dependents of municipal employees and elected councillors.  Up to 10 bursariers will be awarded.  The highest scoring application will receive the John Hammer Memorial Bursary valued at $2,000; the balance are valued at $1,500 each.   Since the inception of its Bursary Program, the MEA has awarded over $120,000 in bursaries to prospective engineering students.
