The MEA is pleased to announce it will be hosting a free webinar:   Understanding Municipal Class Enviromental Assessment - The New Heritage Bridge Checklist.

During the past year, MEA has been working with the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Cultural Industries (MHSTCI) to modernize the Municipal Bridge checklist that is used for evaluating the potential for cultural heritage resources. Be the first to review and offer feedback related to this new checklist. Important changes have been incorporated into this new checklist such that most bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects will be Schedule A+ projects. This webinar will be of particular interest to municipalities with bridges older than 40 years and to consultants that specialize in bridges. 

This webinar will be delivered by the MEA’s MCEA Advisor, Mr. Paul Knowles P.Eng. With 40+ years of experience, Paul has been involved in all aspects of the MCEA document, including all re-writes and amendments.
