The Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks recently responded to the MEA's letter (co-signed by OPWA, OWWA, OHBA and RPWCO) of July 22, 2021 which expressed concerns on the ongoing delays in approving the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) amendments.  Work on the MCEA amendments have been ongoing since the late Spring of 2019.

The MEA wishes to thank those  muncipalities who submitted letters of support to the Minister regarding our letter.
