The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation & Parks (MECP) is hosting two (2) online information sessions for practitioners to learn more about the updated proposal for a new streamlined environmental assessment regulation for municipal infrastructure projects.

 

This proposal is posted on the Environmental Registry for comment until February 3, 2026,  https://ero.ontario.ca/notice/019-7891. 

 

The Municipal Engineers Association will be providing comments to the MECP regarding this proposal and will share them with MEA members soon.
